The Department of Parks is the steward of more than 18,000 acres of land and as such is the biggest single manager of natural assets in the county. Standing Evaluations have been drafted by the Wildlife Diversity Program employees for all state threatened or endangered species to summarize what is understood about the species in the state, to establish delisting or downlisting targets if current knowledge permits that step, and to listing monitoring and analysis needs.
